Sat, 21/01/2012 - 09:49 I have downloaded and installed the STREAMSU product.
The installation appeared to complete normally, and I now have the STREAMSU icon on my desktop.
However, when I launch STREAM, I receive the following error:
If the STREAMSU installation completed OK, then this proves that you had the required permissions for STREAM installation.

Tue, 08/03/2011 - 17:24 As explained in the STREAM Installation manual, if you are using the STREAM Database Uploader on Windows Vista or Windows 7, it is important to right-click on Uploader.exe and select the Run as administrator option.
Although you may have administrative rights under Windows, the Uploader will attempt to load a database into SQL Server. Due to the User Access Control (UAC) feature of Vista and 7, this administrator status is NOT passed through to SQL Server.
