News: Acuity signs agreement with Information Security Forum
The Information Security Forum, the world’s leading independent membership organisation for Information Security, and Acuity Risk Management, authors of the STREAM integrated risk and compliance management tool, announced their Licensing Agreement at the Infosecurity Europe 2009 event at London’s Earls Court.
The ISF version of STREAM, the first ever ISF Compliant Product, now contains the ISF’s Standard of Good Practice, Benchmarking Questionnaires, Threat / Incident List and Business Impact Reference Table. This means users of STREAM will be able to view, control and manage their compliance in real time against the ISF’s Standard of Good Practice, as well as against other dominant standards such as ISO 27001. Members of the ISF and other participants in the ISF’s Benchmark Service will also be able to maintain their Benchmark Survey data in STREAM, saving substantial time and cost.
Commenting on the agreement, Acuity’s Managing Director, Simon Marvell said, “For the first time, CISO’s will have the access to the ISF’s information security standard delivered through a tool they can use every day and in real-time to see their enterprise’s risk and compliance position. This is the start of an exceptionally important relationship for Acuity and we are incredibly excited about working with the Information Security Forum and its member organisations.”
